Savignac, Pierre H.

Pierre Savignac was born in Montreal in 1931. He pursued his University studies in human relation and in sales at L’Univeraity de Montréal where he had a professor named Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien (from 1960 to 1963). Then on until 1965, he inscribes him self to courses in interior decoration. He also completed courses in aquarelle with the teaching of Roger Côté from the Interior Design School of America. Attracted to oil painting in 1988, he participated at a group exposition for the first time in the city of Anjou. He also presented his work tree times at the Lajeuness Ahunsic’s caisse populaire. The third amatory prize is given to him at the contest Mountains, Rivers and villages of St-Hilaire. Now he devotes all his time to painting and he is a member of l’Association des Artistes peintres de la Rive-Sud.
