Henry W. Jones was born in Waterloo, in Quebec, 1925. He studied arts at the University Sir George Williams and at the Montreal school of fine arts. In 1960 to 1967, he teaches arts in that same school of arts and in 1968 to 1986, he teaches at the University Sir George Williams. For 35 years he has worked with pottery, gold and silver jewels, painting and sculpture.
