Born in 1939 in Alberta, Vladimir Horik chosed to establish himself in Quebec at the beginning of the sixties. After studding in arts at l’École des Beaux Arts de Quebec et obtains a right to teach in arts at the Université Laval. He travels threw Europe and North Africa. After visiting western Canada he finally installs himself in Saint-Hilarion in the Charlevoix region. In the seventies, he teaches drawing lessons and painting while holding many expositions that gain his notoriety as a painter. During the last twenty years, he presented about thirty expositions and his works enriched many public and private collections
